WARDROBE WORKOUTS

4 hours in your Wardrobe - or customised shorter "audits" prior to Online Shopping. The choice is yours!

Do you have a wardrobe full of clothes and still complain that you have nothing to wear?

Did you know that you wear 20% of your wardrobe 80% of the time?

Let me help you decide what stays and what goes. Learn what suits you and what really isn’t doing you justice.

The result? A smaller but more effective and organised wardrobe.  See how easy it is to then identify the gaps and stop repeating costly shopping mistakes.

After assessing your needs, I reorganise your wardrobe for maximum impact, advising on what items you may still need to buy to make your wardrobe REALLY work for you.

From there it’s up to you whether you want to hit the shops alone, armed with my recommendations, or whether you would like me to source clothes for you online, making the most of the range and bargains available.

How Does a Wardrobe Workout Work?

We arrange a time for me to visit your home to do a complete audit of your existing wardrobe. This generally takes 4 hours. We can also use a Skype Styling Session to do the wardrobe workout. Before the session I ask you to complete a Client Profile Form so I can arrive armed with a bit of knowledge about who you are, your personality, preferences and lifestyle.

What Do We Do?

I spend 4 hours in your wardrobe, auditing each piece. We chat about and try on any pieces of concern to double-check if they should stay or go. Together we decide whether those items should be rehung (in the correct manner), altered for a better fit or stored for a second chance or revisit next season. If the pieces don’t fit in these categories, they can be donated.

You’re then left with a wardrobe full of clothes that you can, and should, still be wearing – and with tips on how to wear them. I will also provide notes on the items that need to be replaced, the gaps in your current wardrobe and the best places to buy needed items.

How Do I Prepare?

It helps to have a good number of quality coathangers ready to go. I like flocked hangers (slim-line hangers with a felt coating) or wooden hangers best to really protect your clothing. I bring three hampers to help us sort your clothes into piles.

Be ready to try on lots of clothes. And if you want to save time on the day, do your own Wardrobe Workout first. Eliminate anything you really don’t like, and have a selection of those pieces you’re unsure of, which we can address immediately on the day. Saving time in this way allows for more of your styling budget for sourcing NEW items instaed.

What Are The Next Steps After A Wardrobe Workout?

You finish armed with the knowledge of the right cuts, colour and styles for your body, and where to get them. You can then either shop on your own, using a list of items provided during the session, or let me source the pieces for you online.

Either way the result is a wardrobe that makes you feel confident, comfortable and never leaves you staring into the depths wondering “what can I wear”?
