In this technological age, we’re no longer restricted by geography! Style Counsel has introduced Skype Styling, offering all the benefits of being styled by a professional, but with the convenience of doing it from your home – no matter where you live!
How Does It Work?
We make a time to chat virtually on Skype, Zoom or Facetime, and I ask you to fill out my Client Profile Form so I have an understanding of your personality, your preferences and your lifestyle beforehand. I look at your Interior spaces, wardrobe, or – in the case of Personal Styling – body shape (from every angle) and together we come up with a plan of attack to create a workable, beautiful interior or personal style direction designed just for you.
Skype Styling can be used in conjunction with Style Counsel’s other services as an initial consultation before we commencing on a project together.
How Long Is a Session?
A typical Skype (or Zoom, Facetime, whichever you prefer) Styling session takes one hour. Sometimes more, sometimes less, depending on the objectives of the session.
What Should I Have Ready?
You can be prepared with any personal wardrobe, decorator or furniture items you’d like me to check or audit. Together we identify a style direction or perhaps even specific items you might need, and the best ways to utilise them in your existing interior space or wardrobe.
What are the Benefits?
You don’t have to travel to see me, and you’re in the comfort and security of your own home. I don’t have to travel to see you, so it’s easier for me to allocate Skype appointments and there’s less of a waiting period to see me.
Some people are quite nervous about seeing a Stylist for the first time, and this really breaks the ice and you get to see how easygoing I am and how “real” we can both be. You get to chat with me and pick my brains and we can then get the ball rolling for online sourcing (if that’s what you want to do) or I can provide the advice and strategy you need for shopping on your own.
